Type 10 MBT "Hitomaru" Gate

The Type 10 is the forth indiginous post-war main battle tank produced by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Development started in 2002 by the Technical Research and Development Institute for an advance tank concept with a prototype completed in 2006. Testing were conducted until 2010 where the design was completed. The tank featured an indiginous licensed production version of the 120mm L44 smooth-bore cannon produced by Japan Steel Works. The cannon was modified to withstand higher pressures in order to handle the new Type 10 APFSDS round and the 2. 5-3 seconds adjustable reload speed. As production of the Type 61 stopped, the Type would come to replace the aging fleet of Type 61 in Japanese doctrine. The cheaper price tage of 6million dollar per unit ,compares to the Type 90's 7. 4million dollars, could see the Type 10 replacing all MBT of the JGSDF in the future. The turret is a little bit shorter than it actually should, but this is already the 8th version of this turret as changing 1 plate means fixing all of the other ones to match. So I'm just gonna give up, I've already spent more time on this tank than both the Type 90 and Type 74 combine, maybe even the StuG as well. I've model in the composites of the Type 10, at least the War thunder Version of the composites. Just click on the colour brick and slect same colour, then hide them to see the composites. You can also remove the composites with the tungsten and steel brick provided. I know that this vehicle isn't in Gate: Jieitai Kano Chi nite, Kaku Tatakaeri (Gate: Thus the JSDF Fought There) but the show is set in 2015 soooooo...it could have show up in Gate.
