Beginning of the Tutorial

• [] Backup your original save.

  [] Encrypt the save you downloaded from this mod page.

  [] Download the SaveGame Crypter.

  [] Profit.

  First, back up your save file located here:

  C:\%UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\Borderlands 4\Saved\SaveGames

  Prerequisites

  1. Download the mod: SaveGame Crypter GUI

  2. Create a new folder on your desktop.

  3. Name this folder Honk.

  4. Place SaveGame Crypter GUI inside Honk.

  5. Inside Honk, create a folder called Input.

  6. Place your unzipped YAML files into Input.

  7. Inside Honk, create another folder called Output.

  8. In SaveGame Crypter GUI, open Advanced Settings and change the Output Path to Honk\Output.

  9. Click SAVE five times.

  Prerequisites for Steam

  1. Go to your Steam profile and copy your profile link.

  2. Visit SteamDB.

  3. Paste your Steam profile link into the search bar.

  4. Copy your SteamID.

  5. Open SaveGame Crypter GUI.

  6. Enter your SteamID in the input box.

  Prerequisites for Epic Games Store

  1. Open Epic Games Launcher.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Your EpicID is shown there.

  Encrypting Files (Beginner Method)

  1. Open SaveGame Crypter GUI.

  2. Click Convert on the left side.

  3. Click Add Directory.

  4. Navigate to Honk\Input and select the folder.

  5. Click Convert at the bottom.

  Encrypting Files (Advanced Method)

  1. Press the Windows key.

  2. Type CMD and press Enter.

  3. In the Command Prompt window, type:

  cd "C:\%UserProfile%\Desktop\Honk"

  4. Get your SteamID from SteamDB.

  5. Replace STEAMID with your actual SteamID and run the following commands one by one:

  bonk encrypt -i 1.yaml -s STEAMID

  bonk encrypt -i 2.yaml -s STEAMID

  bonk encrypt -i 3.yaml -s STEAMID

  bonk encrypt -i 4.yaml -s STEAMID

  bonk encrypt -i profile.yaml -s STEAMID

  Moving the Files

  Once your files are encrypted with your Steam/Epic ID, move them from:

  Honk\Output

  C:\%UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\Borderlands 4\Saved\SaveGames\ID\Profiles\client\
