NO WEAPON RECOIL

Borderlands 4 • Oak2 Python SDK • Client-side

Zeroes (or scales) weapon recoil on your character. Camera climb, view-kick, and accuracy-impulse fields get rewritten on equip and after each shot.

Requirements

  []oak2-mod-manager (Oak2 Python SDK)[/]

  Install

  • []Install oak2-mod-manager so the game has an sdk_mods folder.[/]

    []Drop no_weapon_recoil.sdkmod into sdk_mods (same folder as __main__.py).[/]

    []Do not unzip the .sdkmod.[/]

    []Launch BL4, open the console (~), run mods, enable No Weapon Recoil.[/]

    Options

    • []Enabled — master switch[/]

      []Recoil scale (%) — 0 = none, 100 = vanilla (default 0)[/]

      []Also flatten spread — off by default so shotgun cones stay shotgun cones[/]

      Console

      nwr_apply    // force re-apply on the current gun

      nwr_dump      // log equipped weapon / behavior class names

      Notes

      • []Client-side only. Other players do not get your recoil values. Treat this as a cheat in public lobbies.[/]

        []Disabling the mod does not restore original numbers until you swap weapons or restart.[/]

        []Viewmodel animation bounce is separate from camera recoil and is not stripped.[/]

        Built against oak2-mod-manager / BL-SDK (apple1417 and contributors). Weapon slot path matches the live Oak2 layout used by community SDK mods.
