Borderlands 4 Split-Screen Mod

This mod is now a native menu built in to the main menu of borderlands 4.

This mod allows you to play borderlands 4 in 2-4 player split-screen natively on the steam version.

Requirements

Borderlands 4 sdkmod found here https://bl-sdk.github.io/oak2-mod-db/

Installation Guide:

BL4SplitScreen v1. 0

1. Install bl4splitscreenv1. 0.sdkmod with Oak2 Mod Manager.

2. Copy bl4splitscreenv1. 0_P.pak, bl4splitscreenv1. 0_P.utoc, and bl4splitscreenv1. 0_P.ucas into Borderlands 4\OakGame\Content\Paks.

3. Remove older BL4 split-screen PAK/UTOC/UCAS versions to prevent conflicts.

UI baseline: v0. 37.

Backend/SDK release label: v1. 0. 0.

****Proper Mod Steps

Step 1- Have all controllers connected before starting BL4

Step 2- Add players at main menu.

Step 3-  Load in game

Step 4- Player 1 quits back to main menu to reinitialize the other players and stop load hang for them on first load, allow them to create or change characters.

Step 5- Load back into the game

Step 6- Have the other players except player 1 open their maps first and make sure they have controller ui and can navigate the map.

Step 7-Have fun!

Note You can also use the sdkmod itself to do everything if you are having issues with anything
