📋 About This Mod
A mod that brings the fast-paced sprinting and sliding movement style of modern Call of Duty: Black Ops entries to the many worlds of Borderlands 3.
Description
With this mod, gain the ability to sprint and (soon) slide in all horizontal directions (including diagonal combinations), while the camera aims forward regardless of direction of travel. Because Borderlands 3 does not have a native prone feature, there is no omnidirectional diving or sliding into a prone stance. Creating a prone feature and integrating it with Omnimovement features may be a future project given enough people want it.
Installation
- Download the version you would like to use from the files tab
- Extract the .zip file to Documents or Downloads. DO NOT EXTRACT IN GAME FILES
- Open the extracted file, cut or copy the file named "OmniMovement.sdkmod"
- Do not rename this file ever, the archive contains a root folder with the same name
- Paste the clipboard file directly into your Borderlands 3\sdk_mods path
- Launch Borderlands 3 from Steam or Epic Games Launcher
- Open MODS and ensure OmniMovement is enabled
- Load into a game and enjoy!
Main features
- Omnidirectional sprinting
- Normal, balanced sprint speed
- Camera direction is still controlled by the player
- Mod menu interface support (Enable/Disable while game is launched)
- Near-zero performance cost
Current Limitations
Because this mod is currently in Alpha, I have run into and issue where sliding does not work as intended, and always travels forward regardless of the player's current sprinting direction. I am actively working to resolve this, as well as additional visual tweaks to make OmniMovement feel more immersive in Borderlands 3 (i.e. auto strafe-leaning, camera tilt, and possibly gun tilt.)

Shout outs
This mod was inspired by the movement system seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Warzone, and Black Ops 7. I also want to thank my best friend for threatening to make fun of my Python code if it isn't clean lol.
