Meaningful Loot - Less Loot. Better Gear.

Description

Meaningful Loot is for players who enjoy Borderlands 3's gunplay more than the part where every encounter leaves another glowing carpet of gear to inspect.

It gives you separate control over how much eligible gear survives and how good the surviving gear needs to be.

The defaults are 10% Gear Drop Multiplier and 75% Minimum Gear Quality, producing a “less loot, better gear” experience where you spend much less time comparing tiny stat differences and clearing backpack space.

But that's only one way to use the mod.

Keep Gear Drop Multiplier at 100% and increase Minimum Gear Quality if you want BL3's normal loot volume with stronger gear. Lower quantity and leave Minimum Gear Quality at 0% if you want a tougher scarcity-focused playthrough.

Or choose anything between those extremes.

Meaningful Loot is less a fixed rebalance and more a pair of controls for deciding how much of your playthrough you want loot management to consume.

Installation instructions

  []Place

  []Open the MODS menu.[/]

  []Enable Meaningful Loot and adjust its settings if desired.[/]

Main features

  []At low quantity settings, vendors become extremely quick to check. At the default 10%, the regular gear list is typically stripped back to the Featured / Item of the Day as the main gear choice, while the game's normal refresh behaviour remains unchanged.[/]

  []Chests and world loot follow the configured Gear Drop Multiplier and can legitimately produce fewer or no gear items at low settings.[/]

  []Host-Only co-op: only the host needs Meaningful Loot installed. BL3's normal Cooperation-mode personal loot can still differ between players.[/]
