A collection of hand-picked particle effects crammed into a custom explosion + impact effect - for the sole purpose of turning your Fire Storm into a proper INFERNO.

The Hot Drop got the same custom expolosion for its primary detonation, as well as an a bit less fancy version for the secondary projectile explosions.

And its fire pool (aka. splat) got a better loocking burning effect with more fllames, rising embers and heat ripples and shit.

Speaking of shit, I also replaced the Hot Drop projectile trail with a burny one.

Please note: the spherical structures in the explosions on the first two images are artifacts from the picture mode.

Side effects:

Might cause pyromaniac urges.

Mayas Helios projectiles also developed considerably more fancy impact effects.

All alien barrel fire weapons will have the better looking fire pool effects as well, not just the Hot Drop.

If making use of a Rain Firestorm, the FPS might drop a little lot. Don't worry, the particle effects still look great. I mean, FPS, who needs them anyway.

Installation:

This is a hotfix-mod. Drop the InfernoFirestorm.bl3hotfix - file into the appropriate mod folder of your hotfix-modding solution of choice.

All efects and such were part of the original game, its hotfix-modding after all - no new assets, just rearranging existing ones

ah, well, there I lied to you. I actually originally hand-picked-and-crammed those particle effects for the sole purpose of allowing the Iron Bear flame thrower to turn the game world into an inferno - as part of my Raging Iron Bear mod project. After that was succesfull, I decieded to code those eyecandies into select treasures of the Vault Hunter arsenal.
