The amount of damage taken can be configured, as well as how fast you have to be falling to take any damage.
To install open FallDamage.zip with a program like winrar/7zip then drag and drop FallDamage.sdkmod into the sdk_mods folder in the borderlands 3 directory. if you dont have an sdk_mods folder then install the PythonSDK first (listed as a requirement just above this chunk of text).
