Doppelganger Playable Character

Handsome Jack's body double, playable in Borderlands 2

The Doppelganger from Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel as a seventh character.  His three skill trees, the Digi-Jack action skill, his class mods, all of his heads and skins, and his voicelines.

Features

• []All skills from TPS Doppelganger fully functioning, with some minor changes to Laser Surplus (on grenade throw rather than on slam).[/]

  []All heads and skins from TPS are included and unlockable through normal gameplay, with some additional heads added where they make sense (Crawmerax head from the son of craw headhunter dlc for example).[/]

  []All class mods included from TPS (minus Chronicler of Elpis) with 2 changed and 4 additional to fit within BL2:

  1) Eridian Vanquisher is replaced with Slayer of Terramorphous (same skills but with burn chance, burn damage, and max health on the card to fit other slayer coms)

  2) 3 new tubby drop coms

  3) Celestial Doppelganger renamed to Legendary Doppelganger to fit other character coms of the same nature.

  4) A tiny tina DLC com.[/]

  []Co-op has been tested not as extensively as singleplayer, but should function completely fine.[/]

    Installation

    • []Install PythonSDK. Link[/]

      []Download the zip and extract it into your Borderlands 2 folder (the one with Binaries, DLC and WillowGame in it). It only adds a sdk_mods\Doppelganger folder.[/]

      []Start the game. The mod finds your Pre-Sequel installation and builds Jack's files. A message appears when they are ready: restart the game once.[/]

    If the Pre-Sequel is somewhere the mod cannot find, open the console and run doppelsetup path <folder> with your Pre-Sequel folder, then restart.

    Updating

    Extract the new zip over the old one and start the game. Changed files are rebuilt in place. A restart is only asked for when an update adds new files. Your Jack saves carry over.

    Uninstalling

    Run doppelsetup remove in the console (it deletes every game file the mod built), then delete sdk_mods\Doppelganger and DLC\Doppelganger. Saves made with Jack show as unloadable while the mod is absent and load again once it is back.

    Known issues

    The Digi-Jacks use the Deathtrap slot under the hood. Other mods that change Deathtrap may touch them.

    Compatibility

    I have not personally tested Doppelganger's compatibility with other mods, so I imagine it would not be compatible with most (apart from Commander which I used extensively in testing (thanks Mopi))

    Bug reports

    Turn on "Diagnostic logging" in the MODS menu entry for Doppelganger, reproduce the problem, then post Borderlands 2\Binaries\Win32\Plugins\unrealsdk.log together with the output of doppelsetup status from the console. Say which store your Pre-Sequel comes from and the game's language.
