Aurelia, the Baroness

The Pre-Sequel's Baroness as a playable Borderlands 2 character

Aurelia joins Borderlands 2 as a new Vault Hunter: her three skill trees, her action skill Cold as Ice, the cryo element, her heads and skins, her class mods and her legendaries, with The Pre-Sequel's own effects and voice.

Nothing from The Pre-Sequel is in this download. The first time you start Borderlands 2 with the mod, it builds her files on your PC from your own copy of The Pre-Sequel. That's why the download is so small.

Features

• []A full character. She's in New Game. With Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary she can also start as a new level 30 character.[/]

  []Her three skill trees (Huntress, Cold Money, Contractual Aristocracy), with The Pre-Sequel's tier rules.[/]

  []Cold as Ice. Her Diadem shard seeks out an enemy, damages and freezes it, then comes back. With nothing to hit, it returns at once and refunds the cooldown.[/]

  []The Contract binds on its own: other players become her Servants, and she can be her own Servant too (options).[/]

  []Cryo, a new element: freezing, slowing, extra damage to frozen enemies, and shattering. An optional cap limits slag and the frozen bonus together in Normal Mode and True Vault Hunter Mode.[/]

  []Cryo guns roll on every manufacturer that rolls elements except Bandit, Jakobs and Torgue, at shock's odds, with The Pre-Sequel's card lines. Enemies can use them too (option).[/]

  []Cryo gear: cryo grenades with The Pre-Sequel's names (Cryo MIRV, Snow Ball, Frigid Sheila...), Cryo Nova and Cryo Spike shields, Maliwan's Warming shields (immune to freezing), and relics with cryo damage or cryo resistance.[/]

  []Frozen enemies look frozen: an ice coat, The Pre-Sequel's icicles and frost, the ice breaking off when they thaw, and a shatter when they die frozen. Cryo explosions and the Cryo Nova blast are The Pre-Sequel's ice explosions, and Krieg's Bloodsplosion turns icy on cryo kills.[/]

  []Cryo resistances where they make sense: Mercenary Day's snow enemies, snow skags and snow psychos, Dragon Keep's Sorcerers, Paladins and Wizards, Commander Lilith's New Pandora troops, and more.[/]

  []Her own effects: The Pre-Sequel's particles, with their materials ported to Borderlands 2's renderer.[/]

  []Her heads and skins, with an option to unlock them all. Her class mods and legendary class mods drop in Borderlands 2.[/]

  []Her voice in combat, with fitting lines of her own in Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep.[/]

  []Butt slams: crouch in mid-air to slam into the ground, as in The Pre-Sequel (options: who can slam, damage type, height).[/]

  []Bloodwing gets an optional fourth phase: cryo.[/]

  Requirements

  • []Borderlands 2 for PC (current Steam version).[/]

    []willow2-mod-manager (the Python SDK), version 3. 8 or newer. The old PythonSDK can't run this mod.[/]

    []Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel installed on the same PC, with Lady Hammerlock the Baroness Pack. Steam and Epic installs are found automatically.[/]

    []Optional: Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary, for the level 30 start.[/]

    Installation

    • []Extract the aurelia folder into Borderlands 2's sdk_mods folder. It's a folder, not a .sdkmod file.[/]

      []Start Borderlands 2. The mod finds The Pre-Sequel and builds her files in the background, which takes from half a minute to a couple of minutes. A message tells you when it's done.[/]

      []Restart Borderlands 2. She's in New Game.[/]

    If The Pre-Sequel isn't found, the message says so. Give its folder in the console, for example

    aurelia build run "D:\Games\BorderlandsPreSequel"(the folder that holds Binaries and DLC).

    Updating

    Replace the aurelia folder with the new one. If an update changes how her files are built, the next start rebuilds only what changed and asks you to restart.
