📋 About This Mod
Brings the Class and Starting gift system from the Souls series with a little extra flair tossed in.
Bringing the Class and Starting Gift system to Yharnam!
This is a small part of a larger, modular overhaul mod that I am currently working on.
Since this feature is pretty much ready to go I thought I'd release it early while I continue work on my main project.
This retools all of the "starting classes" to be more akin to the souls games of yore.
Now you gain armor and equipment more suited to the origin of your character!
All stats in vanilla total out to 60, which is the stat total of all of these characters, save for two of them.
Some classes also start with a custom item that is otherwise unobtainable (i.e. half-cost beast roar, bullet-using pungent cocktail, etc)
Think of them as starting gifts. At this time I am unsure how to create a Starting Gift menu, but if I ever crack that chestnut I'll give this mod an update!
As a bonus, I've decided to enable "Auto Replenish" on all consumables, a holdover from my main mod project. What this means is that, as long as you have at least 1, your consumables will be replenished from your remaining stock in you stockpile, if you have any. Why this wasn't a feature in the base game I'll never understand...
Here are the starting classes, their equipment, and their stats:
