-RAE- Rom Auto Exterminator

"Haven't you seen enough of these wretched beasts, freakish slugs, and mad doctors?"

This mod kills Rom as soon as she spawns, with simple code. Rom's spawn script just kills her, the minions and Rom will still be on screen for a moment but rest assured she will meet a timely demise. Now including her Chalice Dungeon version.

The chalice version has some failsafe code that kills her if you hit her with your weapon, but -RAE- only fails if chalice Rom's AI breaks and thats extremely unlikely to happen.

Installation

Install manually or with a mod manager, a file for both types of installation are included.

Mod manager installation recommended. Unpack the .zip and activate with BB_Launcher or your choice of mod manager.

Manual installation comes with a vanilla version of the game file to uninstall my mod with.    ~~~~~~  Unpack the .zip, open your Bloodborne game folder, open the "dvdroot_ps4" folder and place the file in the "event" folder. ~~~~~~ The file path will look something like  ... > CUSA00900 > dvdroot_ps4 > event >

version 0. 2 will include 2 files, make sure to move them both into the "event" folder.

PLEASE, DON'T USE THIS MOD ON YOUR FIRST PLAYTHROUGH! (unless you need it)

This mod is intended for those with arachnophobia or those who have seen Rom's fight enough and just wish to skip it to progress the world state and move on.

Likely incompatible with other mods that change the "event" files for Byrgenwerth(or Chalice Dungeons with V0. 2).

Confirmed conflicts will be listed here -

"Magnum Opus - Project Beast update", it is possibly ok to overwrite Magnum Opus with my files, however you WILL lose some functionality of "Magnum Opus - Project Beast update", if not break it in part or entirely.

"Bloodborne Enhanced", it is possibly ok to overwrite "Bloodborne Enhanced" with my files, however you WILL lose some functionality of "Bloodborne Enhanced", if not break it in part or entirely.

I'd like to expand this mod into a full "Arachnophobia Mode" in the future, given enough interest, including my own. As is this mod eases some of my new playthrough dread, so I'm sharing it now, prior to said expanded version.
