🔹 What is this?

This mod adds a Japanese wakizashi, a traditional short sword often paired with a longer katana.

Originally prototyped during the U10 era and developed further in U11 with custom sakura particle effects and a ranged feature called “Sakura Cutter,” this Blossom Katana with Sheath has now been fully remade and optimized for BaS 1. 0 PCVR/Nomad.

🔹 What’s the ideal combat style?

• []This weapon now appears in the Baron's Bounty store as a Tier 3 item, typically after defeating around four golems in Crystal Hunt Mode.

  []It is a practical and reliable weapon for use in Dargalia Ruins golem encounters or dungeon exploration.

  []If you're unsure whether this mod has been installed correctly, we recommend testing it in Sandbox mode first.

  If you're new to Blade and Sorcery as of version 1. 0, it's also a good idea to go through the in-game tutorial by playing Crystal Hunt mode.

  This weapon will appear randomly in the store as a Tier 3 item, usually after defeating around four golems.

🔹 What’s the ideal combat style?

This weapon is intended to support fast, reactive swordplay:

• []Hold the sheath (Run Speed = 2. 9) to close in quickly.

  []Draw the Blossom Katana (Run Speed = 1. 75) mid-motion.

  []Slash at dismember points or use Sakura Cutter to stagger enemies before finishing them with melee.

Instead, correct speed and blade angle against cuttable zones result in realistic severing.

For example:

• []Holding the Blossom Katana in your dominant hand and the sheath in your offhand allows beheading in motion by aiming at the enemy’s neck while dashing past.

  []Heavily armored targets may require fire imbue or tactical use of knockback and mobility.

This weapon is ideal for iaijutsu-style engagements, evasive approaches, and disrupting ranged foes such as archers, sorcerers, and golems.

Although it lacks the reach of longer weapons, its value shines when used in combination with other gear or tactical setups.

🔹 How does the Sakura Cutter work?

Gripping the katana’s main handle (Handle1) and pressing the Use button (Trigger) causes sakura petals to swirl.

Releasing the button fires a spiritual slash: the Sakura Cutter.

When you grip the katana by its main handle (Handle), it functions as a one-handed weapon.
