This mod is the successor of the InputSteamVR Patch, but now that the basics of the InputSteamVR Patch are in the base game, the name no longer felt right. However, over the years the mod evolved to also support animating the hand to show how hard you squeeze the trigger and bruising the enemies.
This mod is not strictly necessary as it's visual only.
