Nomad Angel Wings

By popular demand, and after what feels like hundreds of requests to bring this over to Nomad, here it is: Nomad Angel Wings.

Let’s be clear from the start: this is not the full SS Angel Wings mod from PC Blade & Sorcery. The full version is far too complex, contains far too many systems, and simply is not something I was capable of fully porting over to Nomad. What you’re getting here is the Legacy Lite version, adapted specifically so the Nomad community can at least have a working version of the core experience.

This release includes three wearable wing variants: Angel Wings, Dark Angel Wings, and Archangel Wings. These can be selected through the in-game mod menu, and while they each have their own distinct appearance, their actual functionality is the same. The wings are fully equippable, flight-capable, and animated during use.

Flight is activated using the standard jump input on Nomad, which means pressing in the right controller analog stick, and pressing it again will deactivate flight. Flight speed settings and wing selection can be adjusted through the mod menu.

This release exists purely as a gift to the Nomad community. I no longer personally play Nomad, and this was never originally a Nomad-focused project, so while I was happy to make a version available, this is not something I intend to keep endlessly polishing into perfection. It works, it flies, and it gives Nomad players access to something they’ve been asking for for a long time.

That said, there are a few imperfections, one of the more noticeable being the duplicated mod menu options. With enough extra time, some of these issues could likely be improved, but for the purposes of this Nomad release, I’ve chosen to leave it in a functional state rather than continue endlessly polishing it. It may not be perfect, but it works, and I hope those who wanted it on Nomad can still enjoy it for what it is.

Yes, AI was used during the creation of this project. If you have a problem with that, then it is your problem, not mine. For everyone else, the Nomad skies are the limit. Enjoy.

Installation Instructions

Install this exactly the same way you would any other standard Blade & Sorcery: Nomad mod.

Main Features

This version includes three selectable wing variants: Angel, Dark Angel, and Archangel. All three are wearable and fully functional for flight. Wing type, horizontal speed, vertical speed, and activation can all be adjusted through the in-game mod menu. Because the movement settings are customizable, the three wing variants are primarily cosmetic choices rather than mechanically different loadouts.

The wings animate while flying, can be toggled on and off through the menu, and provide a lightweight version of the original PC experience for Nomad players.
