You cannot unsheathe the katana with your right hand, you can only hold the sheath and katana with the right hand, being grippable by the side or the handle. You can unsheathe with your left hand whilst holding the sheath, but it is a bit wonky.
The sheath can only pierce.
You can find the sword in Exotics.
With Alt use toggle, activate a trail.
