Improved Rock Solid

OVERVIEW

Modular improvements to Rock Solid, allowing for a more parry-focused playstyle.

Successful deflections will instantly complete Rock Solid's cooldown period, allowing it to be used again.

Mana refunded by successful deflections (via the Bold Venture skill): 10 (lvl 1) / 15 (lvl 2) → 20 (lvl 1) / 30 (lvl 2).

As its mana cost is 30, once fully upgraded this allows Rock Solid to be entirely self-sustaining - so long as you don't miss.

Note that Sound as a Bell (optional Relic perk) will stack with this regain, allowing you to be mana net positive with skillful deflects.

Additional options:

• remove the (0. 2s / 0. 3s) window reduction debuffs from Bold Venture

• increase the general Rock Solid cooldown reduction from Rock Mastery -2s → -7. 5s (i.e., halves total CD)

These options are modular - you can use them in any combination.

Requires CSharpLoader and Protobuf Loader.

Fully compatible with my other Black Myth: Wukong mod, Improved Movement.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

This mod is essentially a stripped down + fully modular version of various features available in several other Rock Solid mods, adjusted to my tastes as a player, as I found the existing mods far too forgiving (IMO). I wanted to make Rock Solid more integral to my playstyle, but with the default window, and to still be punished for missing the timing. That said, if you'd prefer increases to Rock Solid's deflection window, extended buff duration, attack immunity or no cooldown / mana cost, I'd suggest True Rock Solid, RockSolid, or No Cooldown Rock Solid - they've got you covered.

INSTALLATION

• install CSharpLoader and Protobuf Loader

• download mod(s) from the files tab

• extract contents (a folder for each mod option) to your local game directory's ProtobufLoader folder

- i.e., ".../steamapps/common/BlackMythWukong\b1\Binaries\Win64\CSharpLoader\Mods\ProtobufLoader"

• launch the game as usual

To uninstall, simply delete the folder and its contents from the ProtobufLoader folder.
