📋 About This Mod
this mod allows the HUD to be rendered at a scale greater than 1.0x without breaking the subtitles.
when playing in 4k this game renders subtitles with an extremely small font, by modifying XUI.ini you can set the scale to more than 1. 0x but if you do that subtitles are not displayed correctly.
this mod modifies all the subtitles in the game to be able to display them correctly (newlines are added when they are too long that they cannot be displayed with a scale greater than 1. 0x), I personally tested up to 5. 0x with the Italian language.
to install this mod replace the original game files with those provided by my archive, I recommend keeping a copy of the original files in case the mod gives problems.
to change the HUD/subtitles scale open the XUI.ini file found at “Documents/My Games/BioShock Infinite/XGame/XGame/Config” and look for MaxResolutionUpScale (should be under GFxUIEngine) and increase the value, I recommend 5. 0 for 4k monitors.
