THE BRUTALITY TOWER

THE BRUTALITY TOWER - is my personal debut BETON BRUTAL custom map. Previously known as 'LADDER BRUTAL' it was my first real custom map project I planned to build exclusively for my friends. The very first alpha version screenshots date back to September, 2023 when I tried to experiment with in-game editor for the first timer ever. The map was originally planned to be full 400m tower high, but I later decided to make it a short but somewhat quality 100m brutal-styled map. On October 18th, 2023 I bought the official copy of the game, as for two months I've been playing it on a pirated copy, so I could not share the map with the community of the game. For several months, THE BRUTALITY TOWER was abandoned and I couldn't make my mind to polish and finish the map. In January, 2024 I finally decided to publish the map. I polished everything that was left to finish and finally, THE BRUTALITY TOWER was released! Despite its overall gameplay and visual simplicity, THE BRUTALITY TOWER remains perhaps the most iconic and memorable map of mine to me. It is where my 'creative career' began. And even though I never became I very popular and active builder, I still love what I did for this game and its community, and I love what BETON BRUTAL gave to me. This particular map does not have a very interesting story, but I keep supporting and updating the map with new features. In 2025, the complete unified one-tower compilation of THE BRUTALITY TOWER map series was released, called 'EPITOME OF BRUTALITY', hosted by my friend, CN_MG. Him and Xannix contributed to the development of the series a lot, and I am greatly thankful to them for making this map a somewhat bright spot at the history of BETON BRUTAL!
