📋 About This Mod
This is a clean Engine.ini tweak for Beast of Reincarnation focused on reducing hitching, improving streaming behavior, and smoothing frame-time consistency.
Beast of Reincarnation - Lossless Engine Tweaks and Clean Visuals
INSTALL ONLY ONE VERSION AT A TIME.
LOSSLESS ENGINE TWEAKS
The safest base version. It keeps supported asynchronous PSO creation, PSO precaching, background texture-streaming work, and parallel/incremental garbage collection enabled. The game's own writable PSO cache remains under game control, allowing new misses to help later runs without forcing custom cache sizes or compile batches.
There are no intentional visual cuts. It does not force low settings, lower resolution, change Lumen/Nanite, or disable atmospheric effects.
This is intended as a conservative frame-time baseline, not an average-FPS miracle. Depending on the game build and system, average FPS may remain unchanged.
CLEAN VISUALS
Includes the Lossless baseline and removes:
-
[]Motion blur[/]
[]Chromatic aberration / color fringe[/]
[]Depth of field, including cinematic depth of field[/]
[]Film grain[/]
[]Vignette[/]
[]Bloom[/]
[]Lens flare[/]
The game contains stealth/covert vignette effects, so this can reduce edge-darkening used as feedback. A custom UI or material overlay may still remain because Engine.ini cannot disable arbitrary game widgets.
Clean Visuals forces motion blur and depth of field off, so changing those two options in the menu may not visibly restore them until this Engine.ini is removed.
INSTALLATION
1. Launch the game once, then close it completely.
2. Download one version only.
3. Extract Engine.ini to:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\BeastOfReincarnation\Saved\Config\Windows
The full destination should be:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\BeastOfReincarnation\Saved\Config\Windows\Engine.ini
4. If you already have an Engine.ini, back it up first. Do not overwrite another Engine.ini mod unless you intend to replace it.
5. Keep Engine.ini read-only after installation.
UNINSTALLATION
Close the game, remove the read-only attribute, then delete Engine.ini or restore your previous backup. The game will return to its own settings.
COMPATIBILITY
- Not directly compatible with another mod that replaces Engine.ini.
- Does not replace or package GameUserSettings.ini.
- Does not lock your resolution, quality preset, upscaler, ray tracing, HDR, or frame limit.
- Game updates can change or override Unreal CVars. Re-test after every major patch.
REPORTING A PROBLEM
Please include:
-
[]CPU, GPU, RAM, and VRAM[/]
[]Resolution and frame cap[/]
[]Upscaler and quality mode[/]
[]Ray tracing on/off[/]
[]Which file you installed[/]
[]The area/save used for comparison[/]
[]Whether the issue also happens after removing Engine.ini[/]
For a useful performance comparison, test the same save and camera position using vanilla, modded, then vanilla again. First-run shader compilation and different locations can otherwise make the result misleading.
Optional support:
Ko-fi
-
[]CPU, GPU, RAM, and VRAM[/]
