Zots Different LosTech Reward Mechs

Summary:

This mod is recommended for 2nd or subsequent play-through, to add some variety.

Campaign Spoiler Warning

Where the campaign would normally give the player a Highlander with a Gauss Rifle, it now gives the other two lighter mechs as a reward. SLDF-geared Black Knight with ER PPC and pulse lasers and the Griffin with an ER PPC and 2 x SRM6.

Bundled with this are updated Mech files that include engine double heat sink mod to provide the extra 30 heat dissipation expected from the DHS in the engines.

You may also want to use my weapon balance mod which improves the somewhat lackluster LosTech Weapons (but also makes lots of other changes).

Zot's Spotting Distance and Sensor Range Enhancement

ER PPC's can't really shine with the default vision and sensor ranges.
