Skip Intro and Splash screens

This is NOT a mod so no files will be needed although a txt file will be provided  for download which will only have a period in it for the purpose of rating the information given here :)

The reason I am not providing a mod is there really is no reason to do so and more importantly i personally hate mods that alter vanilla game files.

1) Navigate to Steam\steamapps\common\BATTLETECH\BattleTech_Data\StreamingAssets\data\debug

2) open the file called Settings.json ( if you don't see the extension that's fine as there is only 1 file named "settings"

3) look for the lines below

A - "disableSplashScreens": false,

B - "disableIntroMovie": false,

C - "testToolsEnabled": "true",

Change A & B to true and add in C if you want to enable the Debug files ( cheat files :D )

A & B should now look like this

"disableSplashScreens": true,

"disableIntroMovie": true,

"testToolsEnabled": "true",

4) Save and close the file and start the game, IF you did it right the game will go straight to the menu screen.
