I recommend Fell Off A Cargo Ship, enabling HBS's built-in Debug Mode, or BattleTech Save Editor to add the mech (in order to see the skin)
EDIT: Upon further testing BT save editor often does not add new skin but instead vanilla. Debug works fine.

There's more non-standard skins, but Umbra Shadowhawk can be accessed via DLC, SLDF Highlander Skin is already implemented (on SLDF Highlander), and Bounty Hunter/Black Widow skins can be seen in Flashpoints.
