📋 About This Mod
As a pilot becomes more familiar with a mech they can earn bonuses with that mech.
How It Works
for each mission a pilot takes they earn 1 affinity point for the mech they pilot (they also lose a point for all other mechs)
at 3 points the pilot earns a +1 piloting when piloting that mech
at 7 points the pilot earns +2 to all skills when piloting that mech
at 15 point the pilot earns +2 to all skills plus a mech specific perk (some mechs may get increased movement, others more damage)
FAQ:
1. Can I have affinities with more than 1 mech?
- If you are very dilligent it is possible, but it will be very hard to maintain more than 1 at the top level
2. Do I have to use the same mech every time?
- No, affinities are tracked by chassis so if your pilot earned affinities with a CN9-A, they will transfer to a CN9-AL or another CN9-A
3. Can I add this mod to modpacks like RT, BTA:
- No this is not compatible with modpacks like BTA, RT or BTR. BTA already includes a special version of this mod and RT will be incorporating an advanced version soon.
