What does this 'Mod do?
It replaces general.txt in your /GameTips folder. Ever wonder where all those loading screen tips came from? There's your answer. Now instead of useful gameplay information you'll get some painfully dumb jokes! I'd say at a rough estimate about 75-80% of the tips have been edited or replaced.

If you like dad humor, sure. It helps to be familiar with the original comments, since most tips bear some resemblance to their vanilla counterparts. INSTALLATION
This is super easy. Remember how I said it was just a .txt? That's really it.

[]Extract the LessUseful.rar into your /StreamingAssets folder, so assuming you have Steam it'll be:
... /steamapps/common/BATTLETECH/BattleTech_Data/StreamingAssets
say Yes to folder merging and file overwriting. This will replace your current general.txt in /GameTips and put a backup in /mods/LessUseful.

You can find a backup in /mods/LessUseful. Just overwrite GameTips/general.txt and you're done. That's it! Really, I promise. Would I lie to you?

Great! I encourage you to do so. There's one thing you should know about general.txt:
DO NOT USE NOTEPAD TO EDIT general.txt.
While this is a .txt, it also contains formatting that doesn't show up in Microsoft NotePad which tells the game where one comment ends and the next begins. I recommend Notepad++ as it parses quite nicely and it has a lot of charming color schemes.
Also, feel free to add or remove entries willy-nilly -- the game just pulls from these as a list. If you look closely at the default general.txt, it contains a few redundant entries to make them show up more often. Clever!
