📋 About This Mod
In the veins of EdmonEdmon's "Alternative Reputation" mod, this QoL mod alters the vanilla game's reputation system for a better (reduced grinding) experience. Now you can form an alliance by just being 'liked' (or optionally 'friendly'), instead of grinding to 100. Great for hitting every Alliance flashpoint in one playthru!
Also tweaked were the breadths of the 'disliked', 'indifferent', and 'liked' stages. They are now smaller: 20 REP points each (30 for the optional B version). Going from 'hated' to 'liked' (or optionally 'friendly') just takes a few completed contracts at max. reputation gain! To help with this, I forked over "Alternative Reputation"'s ability to take ALL contracts regardless of your reputation.
The optional C version doesn't mess with the breadths.
And to keep the 'honored' stage viable, contract payouts and shop discounts are +50% (+30% for the B version, +20% for the C version). Now you can afford all those +++ weapons shops offer!
How to Install / Requirements
1. It uses ModTek. Once that's installed, just extract my mod (any version) to the game's 'mods' folder.
It runs fine on my heavily modded vanilla game (version 1. 9.x) and can be added safely during a playthru; just make sure to deactivate conflicting Reputation mods!
