BattleTech Advanced 3062 Clanner Submod

With that out of the way, this is a very lightweight submod for BTA 3062 that does a few things...

Features

1. It enables the ability for the player to accept contracts for, and ally with Clan Wolf, Clan Jade Falcon, and Clan Ghost Bear.

2. Adds a Smoke Jaguar remnants faction that you can either work with or help destroy. They are located toward the periphery edges of Kurita Space on the planet Antallos.

3. Adds Trueborn & Freeborn Ancestry to character creation. The career paths have also been changed to reflect Clan affiliation. You can choose between Clan Wolf, Clan Jade Falcon, Clan Ghost Bear, Clan Nova Cat, Clan Smoke Jaguar, or Bondsman.

4. Adds Clan Wolf, Clan Jade Falcon, Clan Ghost Bear, Clan Nova Cat, and Clan Smoke Jaguar start options that will start you off with a handful of Clan mechs.

5. Adjusts the dialogue of various contract givers to reflect the player's affiliation with the Clans. The dialogue of all major houses has been adjusted, as well as those of a few minor factions. They will not call you a mercenary, and they will refer to 'contracts' as 'missions'. Mentions of payment, profit, and C-bills have also been trimmed down slightly. This also applies to the Clan factions, who will refer to you as a Clanner.

6. Adds Clan emblems which you can set as your company logo, as well as portraits for the Clan contract givers.

Of note: this mod enables Clan contracts by adjusting the settings of WarTechIIC. Because of this, Great Houses/ComStar will only spawn on Clan planets that they border. This means you probably won't see House Liao or Davion giving missions in Ghost Bear territory, nor will you find House Steiner offering contracts in the dead center of Wolf Space.

Planned Features for the Future

1. Add several Ronin pilots with Clan backgrounds.

2. Character creation options that add Clan mechwarriors to your starting crew.

Possible Features That I Might Consider

1. Adding a few Clan voice packs (NO MORE CONTRACTIONS!!! THEY ARE DISHONORABLE!!!)

2. Making Clan Wolf-in-Exile and Clan Diamond Shark a contract offering faction. (This is leaning more toward the unlikely side unless I can figure out a way to implement them in a way that makes sense)

3. Clan-oriented Flashpoints. (If this is something I end up doing, it is probably a long way out)
