THE BATTLE OF JUTLAND (WORLD WAR ONE) 30. MAI 1916. In execution of operational orders for the northward advance, you will proceed with the I Scouting Group under Vice-Admiral Hipper. The objective is to disrupt trade in Skagerrak area and force enemy reaction. Wireless intelligence indicates the British main fleet remains at Scapa Flow. We anticipate encountering only a scouting forces deploying from Rosyth. If superior forces are met, fight a delaying action southward. The main body of the High Seas Fleet follows 50 nautical miles behind as a supporting position. Cohesion of the formations is the highest priority. Maintain absolute wireless silence until first enemy contact.
