Put the zip file inside your data folder.

Features

You can tweak map size, the amount of land/water, amount of terrain (updated it and it's actually working now), amount of settlements per faction, say if you want 5 civilian and 3 military settlements per faction, and you set 3 factions, you'll have 24 settlements + southern city states.

Take note, I have heavily debugged the game to figure out what causes stutters, and it's the amount of units and settlements in the overworld. That means as much as possible try to minimize the amount of settlements and map size.

There's a load of difference between a 45 settlements and 20 below when it comes to the game eventually becoming unplayable mid-late game.

If you're worried about resources, I'm going to upload the mod I made which is Supply and Refresh Tweaks. It tweaks the frequency of how much hires, shops, and contracts refreshes.
