📋 About This Mod
A collection of trait, perk, scenario, and background tweaks. My insomnia-fueled-update-schedule will likely slow down from here.
Brute
+15% Chance to hit the head
+15% Damage on a hit to the head
-5 Melee Skill
A brute likes smashing people's heads, now they target the head instead of just hitting it extra hard if they happen to do so.
Clumsy
-5 Melee Skill
+1% chance to land an unexpected hit for devastating damage (+50% damage, activation does not guarantee the attack will land)
A clumsy character can take actions that are entirely unpredictable to a trained fighter. I might add a 50-50 chance on a 'crit' to instead strike the clumsy character, for fun.
Cocky
Is more likely to be attacked than other targets (+10%)
A cocky character might draw more heat than they can handle. I may remove the resolve bonus after more playtesting. The original cocky effect made more sense for fearless or deathwish than being full of yourself.
Insecure
Will never be confident morale
Is less likely to be attacked than other targets (-10%)
An insecure character is less likely to draw attention to themselves.
Loyal
Is likely to break out of charm effects (+50% chance at the start of each turn)
Weasel
+25 Melee Defense against attacks of opportunity
Weasel only being active during fleeing morale was very odd. It now helps escape combat but can be used while a character is still under player control.
Lone Wolf
Up to +15% melee skill, melee defense, ranged skill, ranged defense, and resolve when far from allies. Maximum bonus when no allies are within 3 tiles.
I made this tweak as lone wolf is a perk that costs 2 perk points, as you need underdog to survive being a lone wolf.
After some more playtesting I plan to lower the effect to 3%/9%/15% with no allies within the surrounding 1/2/3 tile radius rather than a 5%/10%/15%.
Scenarios
Assorted Davkul Tweaks
Zealot of Davkul gains +5 hitpoint bonus
Acolyte of Davkul gains +10 hitpoint bonus
Sacrifice event slightly more reliable in triggering (reduced variance in reoccuring by a few days, no change in cooldown)
Chance to progress candle tier now depends on the current tier. Chance of reaching tier x is now the following:
Vanilla is 50% for all ranks.
