The Battle Trials

As I got better at this game I found that the midgame is kinda easy, it almost plays by itself. So I made this mod in order to push the player to take risks, or bring those risks to himself. Every 10 days an event will trigger that will allow you to fight a scripted optional hard fight. I made this for players like me who like a challenge

The fights were balanced around an E/E/L/I poacher start, with a good seed, and average rng during the early game (combat, contract, recruit rng). I meant for the fights to be doable while losing 1-2 brothers. The first fight at day 10 pits you against around 20 militia veterans.

You can help me by letting me know if some fights are easier/harder than intended. Some are meant that way anyways.

You can pm me on reddit, discord, or here if you want to offer help/feedback/suggestions/fun combat ideas. I would particularly like it if someone who understands the code better told me any way to let the player open the equipment menu before the battle, or give him an advice right before the battle event or any other workaround.

to install, drag the .zip file into your battle brothers data directory, and do not extract.

Event frequency mod optional but recommended, link on requirements.

This mod is meant to be installed when you start a new game, if you install it while mid game it wont break the game but you will get the events much later than intended and the fights will be a cakewalk.
