More Kraken Mod

Let's be honest, we all love and adore the tentacle monster deep in our hearts. Why not more tentacle monsters in the BB world? Let's show some more love to tentacles. So that we can create the potion of oblivion without an editor and build more Horn Plates for our Nimble bros.

This mod requires the modding hook. This mod can be applied to the Legend mod as well.

1. Features

This mod spawns 2 Krakens on the world map in ocean, shore, oasis, or swamp tiles.

- Krakens can only roam inside the spawned ocean, shore, oasis, or swamp tiles. But they can chase out of these tiles.

- Unlike the original Kraken, the Kraken of this mod can move around. But their speed is slow (20% of Direwolves). The original Kraken is unable to move around.

- Unlike the original Kraken, the Kraken of this mod has 100% visibility is 100% like other beasts (original visibility was 50% so players had to closer)

- The Kraken in this mod are regarded as a separate faction from beasts, so they are not allied with other beast factions including the "original Krakens".

- The Kraken in this mod are regarded as a separate faction, so the "original Krakens" (the one which cannot roam and has 50% visibility) will be also spawned on the world map after you kill the Stone Pillar Kraken.

- The mod will attempt to spawn Kraken 100 times. So, 2 Karkens will be almost guaranteed to exist on the world map. If one Kraken is killed, then there will be 15 days of cool time to spawn the next one.

- The Kraken of this mod will not offer the broken sword, but just the tentacles and plates. To get the sword piece, you need to kill the Kraken in the Stone Pillar.

2. Versions

- The Kraken in the "non-aggressive" version (zip file with _non_aggressive.zip) will not be bothered with other AI factions, and other AI factions will ignore the Kraken.

- The Kraken in the "aggressive" version (zip file with _non_aggressive.zip) will try to engage other AI factions (including other beasts) and can be engaged from other AI factions, regardless of the player's existence.

- The Kraken in the "day 30" version (zip file with _day30_.zip) will be spawned in the world map from day 30 of the campaign.

- The Kraken in the "after kill" version (zip file with _afterkill_.zip) will be spawned in the world map only after the player kills the Kraken in the Stone Pillar, just like the original.

3. Future Plan

- In the future, I will upload other versions with reduced visibility (just like the "original Krakens").

- In the future, I will upload other versions that introduce the Kraken Hunt as a Noble quest.
