Lone Chosen

Please remember that the mythology in this mod is not 100% accurate, I modified some things to fit with the Battle Brothers universe

This mod contains 4 new Backgrounds : Chosen, Chosen Aspirant, Converted Chosen and Shaman.

The Lone Chosen Campaign will let you start at a random position around the map, next to a fort. You've been sent there to confront a champion to serve your god, so, as you may imagine, killing a Noble Champion will lead to retaliation (and war).

As a Chosen, you can sometimes have Aspirant who will join you for free, those Aspirants will then need to gain levels before having the possibility to become Chosen by an event.

Also, you will receive a unique buff from 1 of 3 gods (Fenrir/Hel/Thor) each one of them having buffs and debuffs, you can now choose one of these gods in the intro event.

Installation :

Download the . Zip file and put it in your data folder (don't unzip it)

your data folder is located on yourdisk\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Battle Brothers\data

Notes :

I didn't modify vanilla files, so you shouldn't encounter files conflict.

If you encounter any bugs, or problems, please let me know so i can fix it as fast as I can ! ;)

UPDATE 1. 1 :

With the 1. 1 update, you can now choose your god through the intro event, futhermore I added more weight to the divine aspect so now there's 2 set of events regarding each god. I've also added the capacity to attract Shaman, Shaman is a background that can craft medical supplies through an event. I would like in the future to make it even more deep into the medical aspect.

Question related to Aspirant Volunteer Event :

The problem with this event should be solved, but I let the requirements here just in case you might want to know.

Here's the current condition for the event to fire :

• []Cooldown time : 20 days

  []This event can fire on Roads

  []This event should NOW fire almost anywhere except on Sand Tiles.

  []This event can not fire if there's no room left in your company

• This event can only fire if you're on the Chosen scenario

  If the event fired in your game, please give a feedback so I can identify a potential problem, thanks ! :)

  Regarding Events' gfx :

  The events' gfx regarding the gods are not my production, they are coming from free-to-use websites so it shouldn't be a problem, otherwise, I will immediately publish an hotfix, removing all of them.
