Legendary Location Black Pyramid

Description

The Mod introduces a new Legendary Location: The Black Pyramid, featuring three subterranean floors. To gain entry, the player must collect 5 Rare Beast Trophies dropped by Champion variants of beasts (direwolf, spider, serpent, nachzehrer, and lindwurm). Additionally, rare beasts have 75% chance to drop Gold Ingot.

Unique Trophy Mechanic: Only one instance of each beast trophy can exist in the world at a time. If you sell a trophy to a merchant, it is still considered "active" in the world (as you can still buy it back!) and will not drop again until the merchant’s inventory refreshes and the item is gone.

New Rare Beasts: Encounter new rare beast variants, each featuring unique, non-standard AI behavior and combat patterns.

New Champion Vampire Variant — The Mummy: Slow-moving but heavily armored and exceptionally resilient against attacks.

New Alchemy: Added Potions of the Bull and the Fox.

Current State: The Black Pyramid Legendary Location is already present on the world map and can be interacted with. However, the internal combat encounters and unique monsters for each floor are currently under development. They will be added in the next update (the mod is fully compatible with existing save games).

Improved skills and AI for rare beasts. Rebalanced for realism. New rare beast chances:

rare spider ≈ 1 in 280–320 spiders

rare direwolf ≈ 1  in 140–160 direwolfs

rare serpent ≈ 1  in 140–160 serpents

rare nachzehrer ≈ 1  in 55–65 BIG nachzehrers

mummy ≈ 1  in 38–42 vampires

rare lindwurm ≈ 1  in 26–28 lindwurms

Version 0. 1. 6. Elemental Weapons.

The new version of the Black Pyramid mod (Reforged-only) adds elemental weapons in classic Diablo 2 ARPG style, along with perks that allow their effective use:

[]All named weapons in the game now have a 10% chance to become elemental weapons, gaining additional damage from one or two elements (Fire, Cold, or Lightning). Three elements at once are impossible. Fire and Cold are mutually exclusive. A second element has a lower chance to roll — having two elements simultaneously is rare.[/]

[]Elemental damage scales off the weapon’s base physical damage (+10–30%).[/]

[]Each element interacts differently with armor and hitpoints:

[]Fire melts armor but burns the body more weakly (classic fire grenade behavior) — deals 80% damage to armor and 20% to hitpoints.[/]

[]Cold pierces through metal — deals 35% damage to armor and 65% to hitpoints.[/]

[]Lightning passes through metal to the body — deals 25% damage to armor and 75% to hitpoints.
