Guaranteed Event Bros

Introduction

There are several events in Battle Brothers that may reward a brother if you are lucky enough. This mod gives you the control to guarantee any or all of those event outcomes.

I really enjoy playing no-town challenge runs. One of the biggest aspects of that challenge is recruiting brothers through events. Through

this mod, I intend to make it so that all event bro events can guarantee a brother.

• []This is a game changing mod. If you want to stay with Vanilla game behavior and logic, this is not the mod for you.

  []The "Guaranteed" part of the title does not force the event bro events listed here to fire or appear in game more quickly than they normally would. They have the same 'score' as before. The events must fire in a normal raffle-ticket like manner first. Once one of the below events is fired by the Event Manager, then you can guarantee that the brother joins you.

  []Several of the events here require that you have an open space in your company roster. If you have no open roster slots, the events will a. not fire or b. not give you a brother.

  How does it work?

  • []Using MSU Settings "Mod Settings" panel, you can decide which event bro events you want to modify.

    []By default, all event outcomes are enabled.

    []The mod adds to the event choice that is modified. See photos.

    What are the events?

    • []Runaway Laborers - (Vanilla - 70%)

      []Thief Caught - (Vanilla - two 75% checks, or 56. 25%)

      []The Horseman - (Vanilla - 75%)

      [] Blighted Guy - (Vanilla - 50%)

      Pre-reqs?

      • []Battle Brothers 1. 5. 1. 6 or later

        []MSU 1. 3. 0 or later

        []Modern Hooks 0. 4. 10 or later

        Compatability?

        • []You can add or remove this mod whenever you want. See "Removing the mod" below for important notes!!

          Removing the mod

          • []In order to work properly, this mod has to update the events that are stored in the Event Manager, which is stored in your save file.

            []BEFORE removing the mod from your data folder, if you want to put the event chances back to vanilla settings, you Must go to the Mod Settings menu and disable all four (or whatever you want the default to become) events, Save the changes, save your game. Then remove the mod.

          • If you do not uncheck all mod options AND save your game, the modified event outcomes will stay in place.
