Extended Brothers Epilogue

Description

The mod changes the logic behind the template for ending screen text. Instead of situationally including a passage about your successor and the fate of 2 random brothers whenever possible your mercenary captain's epilogues will:

- feature only brothers with more than 10 days spent in your mercenary company

- mention slightly more than a half of your most experienced brothers and occasionally a random less experienced brother

- the endings that used to include exactly one good ending and exactly one bad ending now include one guaranteed good ending, one guaranteed bad ending and the rest of the mentioned brothers have a 50/50 chance of getting a good or a bad ending

The mod changes only the overall structure of the epilogue text so there should be no conflcts with any other mods be it the ones adding or changing backgrounds for brothers or doing literally anything else as long as these other mods don't overwrite the contents of the asset_manager.cnut script file or the function buildGameFinishText inside the file to be precise.

Script is not compiled so you can always tinker with the logic behind the epilogue to your liking, just promise to not claw your eyes out over the less than elegant code by your truly. If you do just unzip, add whatever changes you want to the single overwritten function inside, and rezip.

Ahtung! I didn't extensively test it since I made it in a span of one evening no promises that there will be no bugs BUT it worked like a charm for a single save file I had on my hands and it didn't break anything for the poor bum ending you get when retiring early. I will update the description if I end up bothering with extensive testing but, so far, install at your own risk of frustration over the unlikely case of the game crushing at the ending screen.

Installation instructions

Just drop the archive into your "Battle Brothers/data" folder. No unzip.
