Clearer Combat Log

Description

Clearer Combat Log cleans up the tactical combat log so you can actually follow what's happening in a fight. Filter out repetitive morale spam, "discovered!" messages, and other clutter, while adding useful information vanilla doesn't show — like exactly which permanent injury a struck-down brother received, right there in the log.

Installation instructions

• []Download the mod file.[/]

  []Copy the .zip file directly into your Battle Brothers data folder (usually located in Steam\steamapps\common\Battle Brothers\data).[/]

  []DO NOT extract the zip file. Keep it packed.[/]

  Main features

  • []Message filters - individually toggle visibility of brother/enemy morale messages, "discovered!" messages, orc rage messages, and (if Legends is installed) Inspiring Presence speech messages[/]

    []Death icons - a clear icon appears in the log whenever a brother or a pet dies or is struck down, so you can spot losses at a glance[/]

    []Permanent injury icons - when a brother survives a killing blow with a permanent injury, see exactly which injury he received directly in the combat log, complete with the same tooltip you'd see in the roster[/]

    []Word highlighting - highlight specific words or phrases in the combat log to make them stand out[/]

    []Round separators - displays "Round: X" at the start of each new combat round, making it easy to see how the fight is progressing at a glance[/]

    Compatibility
    • []Legends - fully compatible. If installed, an additional filter for Inspiring Presence speech messages becomes available in the settings; this option simply doesn't appear if Legends isn't installed.[/]
