Better Slings

Tired of throwing away your slings mid-game in favor of bows? Want your peasants to have a flavor-accurate weapon without being completely useless? This mod hopes to address that.

This is a simple mod that modifies the "Sling Stone" skill to improve the sling's accuracy, giving it slightly more viability compared to bows. There are two versions of the mod, a normal version and an OP version:

Normal: Gives the sling a +25% chance to hit, while keeping the normal -5% chance per additional tile

OP: Gives the sling a +25% chance to hit, and removes the 5% penalty per additional tile (meaning it will have the same hit rate if you are 2 tiles away or 6)

If you want to modify the values at all (like change the buff to +50%, or tinker with any part of the Sling Stone skill), simply unpack the zip, modify the sling_stone_skill.nut file, repack, and put the newly repacked zip in the data folder.

Installation:

Simply drag and drop the zip file into the "data" folder of the Battle Brothers directory, no unzipping needed. (Note: only use one version: Normal or OP, not both)
