Better Battle Standard

I was always annoyed with the fact that the Battle Standard item was presented as an ambition, you're made to work toward it (not that hard, admittedly), and then it ends up being an item that quickly falls by the wayside in effectiveness due to the low damage and single skill. I've always felt it should be on par with the Pike, and so that is what I have done. The tweak is pretty minor (it just matches the Pike's damage and fatigue values), but it's something I wanted for myself and figured I would share it with the community.

Attribute Changes

The following (player) Battle Standard stats have changed:

• []50 - 70 Damage dealt

  []-15 Fatigue

  • []60 - 80 Damage dealt

    []-14 Fatigue

    I did not carry over the +5% to hit head from the Pike, as I didn't feel like it made sense.

    Installation

    Move "mod_better_battle_standard.zip" into your Battle Brothers data folder as-is (no need to unzip it).

    The filepath is usually "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Battle Brothers\data"

    Other Information

    This does not modify Battle Standard items carried by noble factions.

    This mod alters the following file "scripts\items\tools\player_banner.cnut", and will probably conflict with another mod making changes to that file (unlikely).
