The Freelancer Saga, Chapter 1: Solo Journeys

Once upon a time, there was a young square who dreamed of becoming a great adventurer. When the moment finally arrived for him to prove his courage, he stumbled and failed, left feeling alone and disheartened. But instead of giving up, he found new determination within himself. He poured over books and legends, searching for clues about the world’s greatest treasure: the mysterious Orb of Swarms. After countless hours of study, he finally uncovered its possible location. With hope rekindled, he set out on a daring journey that would lead him through tangled forests, scorching deserts, and even the depths of hell itself. No matter the obstacles, he was determined to succeed—and to show the world that he truly deserved to be called an adventurer. Please note: This is the first chapter of the singleplayer experience. I’m excited to share that a multiplayer version—with new maps, diverse biomes, and fresh adventures—is in the works!. Everything I released before this was part of my learning journey, so I encourage you to focus on what’s ahead. Your feedback and suggestions are invaluable as I shape the next chapter—let’s build an amazing future together. While the overall playtime may not be long—about 17 minutes for experienced players—I truly hope the community grows to love this map for many years to come, along with its eventual sequels. Please give it a chance to find a place in your heart.
