At first, the fleet observer thought it was only a disabled “Acacia” class scout submarine, but the active sonar signal soon attracts the attention of scientists. Considering the submarine was surrounded by abnormally dense piezo crystals cluster, boarding team have to use the old-fashioned diving bell to approach. During the boarding action, the Marines and accompanying engineers did not find any signs of living creature or corpse in this ship except the strange infrasonic echo, but the ship was still fully functional. The ship was brought to a science outpost after a “relaxing” salvage operation, and then named as “Amethyst Geode”.
