This mod introduces thousand of units to your game, turning it in combination with the Realistic Battle Mod into challenging gameplay.

Bored with the aesthetics of units and variants, I decided to take matters into my own hands.

I expanded the trees of noble and regular units, taking care of the smallest details and choosing their equipment based on culture and faction affiliation so that you would have no problem recognizing which faction they belong to while maintaining a high level of aesthetics along with the skills.

Each faction has the best unit or units they specialize in, dominating and distinguishing themselves on the battlefield where you will surely meet several of them.

From now on, factions have advanced armies where it is not difficult to meet a powerful noble warrior and the fight against several at once becomes a real challenge.

Get ready for total battles in which, together with the Realistic Battle Mod, it will be hard for you to survive without high skills and equipment.

ABOUT TROOP TREES AND BRANCHES:

The branch trees of each faction are divided into three types:

The first type is regular troops that you can recruit in cities and villages.

The second type is noble troops available only to nobles.

The third type is special troops available only through recruitment in appropriate taverns.

ABOUT  FACTIONS:

The factions in Warlords Battlefield are kept in the spirit of the base game, but the patterns have been expanded to a huge scale.

This means that you will have access to more tactical options with the use of new units.

Strengths: best horse skirmishers, very good cavalry, very good horse archers, good skirmishers, very good archers, mid infantry.

Weakness: infantry, low armed regular units, lack of crossbowmen.

Strengths: best archers, best skirmishers, very good infantry, very good horse skirmishers, mid cavalry.

ABOUT  COMPOSITION OF THE ARMIES:

There is an arms race going on in this mod.

This means that you will find equivalent units on the battlefield that have a similar purpose on the battlefield.

Just like now, there used to be units that competed with each other.

For example, the nobility in most cultures was the heavy cavalry.

You won't find everything here in every faction, but basic units such as infantry armed with spears or bows were the norm.

ABOUT TROOP TYPES IN WARLORDS BATTLEFIELD:

In Warlords Battlefield, there are no invincible units; there are counters that work better against some than others.

This means that you will have to adapt your army to the factions you are fighting in order to achieve victory, which in the base game required only one type of unit.
