📋 About This Mod
Vlandian Steel Reforged and Vlandian Steel Items are mods whose first version dates back to December 2020. The initial goal was to offer a more aesthetic version of the Vlandian faction. Please note that this mod does not claim to be historically accurate or to respect the era that inspired Bannerlord to anchor its story.
The mod's content has evolved significantly over the years based on new content added to the base game, mods whose work it uses (with permission), and my modding knowledge/skills.
Today, it offers a wide range of armor pieces ideal for re-equipping the Vlandian faction or creating a new European-inspired troop tree.
The items in the mod are mainly based on 3D models from the base game or from the Swadian Armoury mod. It also includes some elements from other modders (see Credits section) or unique to Vlandian Steel.
The mod contains :

Please note that this mod only adds new items; it does not equip the game's troops with them. To do this, you can create your own troop tree with mods such as
My Little Warband or use my second module "2 - Vlandian Steel - Troops", which completely reworks the Vlandian faction using all the equipment in this module.The mod revisits the entire Vlandian faction (except for the War Sails DLC content) while trying its best to keep it balanced with the other kingdoms in the game.
The mod removes the vanilla content before recreating it via an XSLT and XML file system in order to offer maximum compatibility with any other mod that would modify all or part of the content affected by Vlandian Steel (see the Requirements/Installation section to find out how to do this).

In order to use "1 - Vlandian Steel - Items", you must own the base game and Swadian Armoury.
In order to use "2 - Vlandian Steel - Troops", you must own the base game, "1 - Vlandian Steel - Items" and Swadian Armoury by extension, since it is a prerequisite for Vlandian Steel Items.
Once the mod is installed, please follow these two instructions regarding your load order :
