Vlandian Steel - New Armors-Weapons and Troops Replacer

Vlandian Steel Reforged and Vlandian Steel Items are mods whose first version dates back to December 2020. The initial goal was to offer a more aesthetic version of the Vlandian faction. Please note that this mod does not claim to be historically accurate or to respect the era that inspired Bannerlord to anchor its story.

The mod's content has evolved significantly over the years based on new content added to the base game, mods whose work it uses (with permission), and my modding knowledge/skills.

Today, it offers a wide range of armor pieces ideal for re-equipping the Vlandian faction or creating a new European-inspired troop tree.

The items in the mod are mainly based on 3D models from the base game or from the Swadian Armoury mod. It also includes some elements from other modders (see Credits section) or unique to Vlandian Steel.

The mod contains :

• []Armor sets with multiple configurations []Around 100 pieces of body armor []Around 50 helmets []Around 30 shoulder guards []Around 20 arm guards []Around 10 leg guards []Two new polearms

• []Battle Equipment for Lords []Civilian Equipment for Lords (Male and Female) []Regular Troops (names, statistics, equipment) []Noble Troops (names, statistics, equipment) []Militia Troops (names, statistics, equipment) []Merchant Troops (names, statistics, equipment) []The reward received when you become a vassal of the Vlandians []Names that can be used by NPCs of the faction (Male and Female)

The mod also adds :

In order to use "1 - Vlandian Steel - Items", you must own the base game and  Swadian Armoury.

In order to use "2 - Vlandian Steel - Troops", you must own the base game, "1 - Vlandian Steel - Items" and Swadian Armoury by extension, since it is a prerequisite for Vlandian Steel Items.

Once the mod is installed, please follow these two instructions regarding your load order :

• []If you are using another mod that modifies the Vlandian faction, place Vlandian Steel Reforged below it in your list. []If you are using War Sails, be sure to place it below Vlandian Steel Reforged.

• []Compatible with any other mod that modifies the Vlandians as long as the load order indicated above is respected; []Realistic Battle Mod: compatibility patch (coming soon); []War Sails: compatible but does not modify the new naval troops (dedicated module coming soon).
