📋 About This Mod
Fixes hair disappearing for some male hairstyles with helmets that should show hair, where even if the helmet is configured to show hair, the game has no hair set to show. It does this by adding references to existing hair models for hairs that were missing these references that are used when equipping helmets that are configured to show hair.
This is not a perfect solutions, as the hair models are not a perfect match to the selected hair model, but it is better then suddenly turning bald. This is also the same method used by TaleWorlds for female hairs, so not sure why they did not do it for male hairs too.
Recommended to be used with Helmet Hair Cover Tweaks Continued or Helmet Hair Cover Tweaks Expanded as they set more helmets to show hair.
Compatibility
This mod is done using xslt, which means it does not overwrite any files, it simply edits the hair mesh references on game load. Therefore it should be compatible with all mods, unless they edit the same hair mesh references.
This also means it should be compatible with all current and future release versions (1. 0. 0+) of the game, as long as TaleWorlds does not completely change the xml structure.
Save Data
This mod does not affect your save data so it is safe to add, remove, or upgrade mid campaign.

✨ Key Features
📊 Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Community-approved with 564 endorsements and nearly 120k downloads
- Non-destructive XSLT approach means it won't conflict with most mods
- Save-safe: you can add or remove it mid-campaign without issues
⚠️ Cons
- Hair models are not a perfect match to the selected hairstyle, so there may be visual mismatches
- Only fixes 11 male hairstyles; other hairstyles may still have the bald issue
- Requires manual load order placement at the bottom, which might be tricky for modding newcomers
For Bannerlord players who are tired of their male characters suddenly going bald when wearing helmets that should show hair. If you use helmet hair cover tweaks and want a more complete fix, this is a must-have. Skip if you don't care about hair visibility under helmets or play mostly female characters.
💡 Beginner Tips
