📋 About This Mod
VERSION 2. 0 IS AVAILABLE - added new gladiator helmets and equipment, replaced the shields with painted versions and made the gladiators skills better so they fight better and are more of a challenge. I also added 3 new gladiator types... The Provocator, the Thrax and the Saggitarius!
Adds proper gladiator armour from Eagle Rising, so now they look more authentic and look more in keeping with the ER mod.
Also adds male & female Gladiators to the Ludus (I had to add them both into the same tree for now as cant seem to get them both to appear in the arena fights otherwise). I also changed the troops slightly so now each gladiator has a chance of been a Murmillo, Retiarius or Hoplomachus.
I recommend using this mod NewSkin by lssrcrrctvs so the female gladiators look more.... "Authentic" ;)

I have done my best to make the gladiators as realistic and historically accurate as I can with the assets I have available - any suggestions & feedback welcome :)
ISSUES: For some reason there is a strange bug when trying to use the gladiator troops in the Enhanced Battle Test mod, the troops equipment sets are mixed up and they dont seem to use their correct weapons. It seems to be a compatibility issue with the two mods, I dont know why and am trying to resolve it but it works fine in-game and in the ludus and arena they work as they should.
