Invisible Weapons Fix

Bannerlord 1. 3. 13 introduced an engine issue that resulted in weapons made entirely from mod-added crafting parts to become invisible in battles. The weapons still exist, deal damage, and appear correctly in the inventory, but when equipped by an agent in battle, the model does not render.

The Cause

The engine (may not be 100% accurate) tries to batch all weapon pieces together for performance; assuming that at least one of the pieces has proper multi-LOD coverage. If all pieces only have LOD0 (meaning that the weapon is only willing to render at the highest detail), the batched weapon can fail to render entirely.

The Fix

At runtime (without messing with XMLs or anything), the mod intercepts weapon meshes that are being built by the game and checks whether the pieces that make up that weapon have any real LOD coverage. If not, the weapon is forced to build without batching, avoiding the invisible-weapon bug. If even one piece has proper LODs, batching is left untouched.

The performance overhead should be VERY negligible and this patch only runs while a scene is loading. Of course, if there are many troops in the scene using your high detail weapon, that will affect your performance in some way, but that depends on how optimized the mesh is and this is only something to consider for those who use a troop editor to outfit agents with these custom weapons.
