My other mods:

Blood Shit and Iron - Wage Model: RECOMMENDED - Overhauls the troop wage model to provide better balancing between the faction.

War Hammers: Very simple mod that adds proper War Hammers into the game. For those that feel the need to crush some more skulls.

I HIGHLY recommend using Realistic Battle Mod since I keep this mod active at all times and will continue to ensure both of these mods are compatible and maintain balance between factions.

For those that are interested in having my full mod list, or want a guide to modding with Vortex: here it is.

MAKE SURE YOU ENABLE THE ATC MODSCAN OPTION IN THE ATC MOD MENU!

The Overhaul is in Modular format: Each faction is its own module so you can pick and choose which ones you want. Of course, I recommend using them all but that is entirely up to you. if you would like too use another overhaul for certain faction, this allows you to do that without any issues.

This DOES NOT require a new game. However, if you load this mod on an existing save, please give it time for old units to phase out and for the new ones to gradually replace them.

If you have mods which alter NPCs, or use Realistic Battle mod, load them before my mod just to safe.

Remember to endorse if you like the mod!

- Events such as the Crusades were in full swing, while in Europe the system of feudalism was consolidating as the main way to organize society. It marks the transition between the Dark Ages and the Late Medieval Ages (what most people think of when you talk about medieval times)

- Wales was yet to be conquered and therefore is one of the last examples of independent Celtic peoples fighting in a way t

💡 Beginner Tips

  • Since each faction is a standalone module, start with just one faction to test compatibility and performance before adding more.
  • Check the mod's page for any known compatibility patches or load order recommendations, especially if you use other troop mods.
  • If you're playing on a version newer than 1.6.0, be prepared for potential crashes or missing features due to the mod's age.
