Y-Shaped Autopsy Scars

This mod adds a Y-shaped chest scar to the player character. It requires Unique Tav Custom Appearance, and will not affect the textures of any NPCs. If you use Kazstra's Virtual Tav, check out jerinski's conversion of these scars to KAVT!

Works for all vanilla races and bodies except for Dragonborn. Dragonborn textures are set up differently from other races and I'm not familiar enough with how they work to make this look good for them at the moment. I'd like to add support for them at some point in the future, but it may not be for a while.

I made a version of this for a custom character a while ago, but now I've finally turned it into something other people can use.

CHOOSING YOUR TEXTURE SET(S)

Each variant has its own subfolder within the .zip file you download. Within those subfolders, you'll find the entire folder structure needed by the game, so you can just copy the "Generated" folder from within your chosen variant's folder into your BG3 "Data" folder to get everything into the right place.

For human/elf/half-elf ("normies") and for tieflings, Unique Tav applies one shared set of textures to bodies 1 and 3 (F and F strong) and another shared set to bodies 2 and 4 (M and M strong). To avoid texture seams, each design variant of the female normie textures is available for either body 1 (NORMIES/FEMALE/normies_f_VariantName) or body 3 (NORMIES/FEMALE_STRONG/normies_fs_VariantName).

Every race has a male and female version of the plain Y scar and the Y scar + Bhaalist scars. Some races also have additional variants of the underlying body texture, and each of those is available both with and without the Bhaalist scars. For human/elf/half-elf, all variants (including Bhaalist scars) are also available with and without body hair. The wonderful jerinski has created additional flat-chested versions of the body 1 normie textures for use with TMTS/MB1/etc, which are included in the loose files download for the KAVT version (requires KAVT, will not work with UTAV).

The design changed a bit in the 2. 0 update. If you preferred the older design, the files can still be downloaded in the "Old Files" section.

INSTALLATION

• []Install Unique Tav Custom Appearance and its requirements.

  []Download this mod.

  []Decide which variant(s) you want to use.

  []Copy the contents (the "Generated" folder) of your chosen variant's folder to your BG3 "Data" folder. This should be something like

  SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Baldurs Gate 3/Data

  If you've got the right location, you should get a warning about overwriting files, since this mod is directly replacing the texture files from Unique Tav.
