📋 About This Mod
Provides an alternate eye color for Wyll after a certain story beat. Also adds the new eye color to the character creator. ***Mod contains spoilers!***
Original version of the mod made for Patch 6, Hotfix 25, but may work for previous patches (the mod should be safe to remove if you run into issues, but proceed with caution!)
Mod and mod images contain spoilers!!!
The original base version of the mod works with Patch 8! Some of the compatibility patches are currently outdated, and will no longer be maintained. This is because the 2. 0. 0. 0 version of the mod overhauls the way the eye color is applied completely, and compatibility patches are no longer needed with the Osiris Script version of the mod.
While you can continue to use the original version of the mod, the Osiris Script version is the version I'll be maintaining from now on, along with the Glow Patch (now necessary to get the glow if not using another mod that adds glowing eyes to Wyll!), and the Eyecolor in CC patch, which adds the new eye color to the character creator, and has now been separated into a standalone .pak.
(Hi, I'm really sleep deprived and the 2. 0. 0. 0 version of the mod changed a lot. Please bear with me while I fix up this mod page; I'll be fixing it up in the morning when I've gotten more sleep.)
Changes in the 2. 0. 0. 0 version:
- Eyecolor is now applied with an Osiris script, rather than editing Wyll's CharacterVisuals directly!
- This means this version of the mod should be compatible with all other edits to Wyll's appearance!! This includes Aimryax's Terpsichore mod, Bububull's Alternate hairstyle for Wyll, all of the mods I originally included compatibility patches for, and more, all without requiring any compatibility patches!
- To improve compatibility further, I've also separated out the glow for the mod into a separate Glow Patch. This is required if you'd like the glow for the eyecolor to show up, but isn't necessary if you have a mod that edits Wyll's eye material to enable glow for him, too.
- The Glow Patch can also be used independently from the script if you'd like a black sclera version of his eyecolor with a similar glow. (It's not identical to the alt eyecolor, but it was so close I decided it might be best to just enable the glow for his vanilla eyecolor as something like a black sclera version of the eyecolor.)
- If you want the eyecolor in the character creator, you'll now need the separate "Eyecolor in CC" .pak.
Known issues in the 2. 0. 0. 0 version:
The Osiris Script version of the eyecolor will apply to all shapeshifts. This is because the Osiris script version uses a material override for Wyll's eyecolor, similar to Shadowheart's haircolor override. However, while I was able to fix Shadowheart's haircolor override applying to shapeshifts with my Shadowheart Shapeshift Haircolor Fix mod, I can't use the same technique I used for that mod for Wyll's eyecolor override. The shapeshift haircolor fix t
