Permanently add properties to your weapons with this oil collection! Be your own blacksmith, in a bottle

Description

The mod adds several oils that will add properties to your equipped weapons. The effects are permanent, until you use the Cleaning Oil.

The current oils are:

-Uncommon (Green), Weapon properties oils: Add Finesse, Thrown or Light.

-Enchanment Oils: Add weapon enchanment 1-4

-Very Rare (Purple), Status Oils: Add Melee Caster, Weapon Bond, Daylight or Arcane Archer (Melee Caster for Ranged Weapons)

-Legendary (Orange), Elemental Damage Oils: Add Elemental Damage and VFX.

-Cleaning Oil: Will remove the effects of any oil in the mod.

Oils on this mod have infinite uses, you just need one for your playthrough.

Location

You can find a backpack with all them in the tutorial chest, or sold by Dammon at the Grove (Act I), Quartermaster Talli at last light inn (Act II) and  Fytz the Firecracker at Lowtown (Act III). A long rest may be needed before it spawn on traders.

Note that the traders will also have the backpack in their inventories, not separate oils.

Installation

BG3 Mod Manager is recommended.

Use either the Vortex Mod Manager or the BG3 Mod Manager and install this mod.

Make sure you deploy your mods if using Vortex or export the mod list if using BG3 Mod Manager.

For Update just overwrite old version pak with the new one.

Uninstallation isn't support after patch 5. If you still want to try FIRST use the Cleaning Oil to remove all effects from the mod, after that use a mod that create a temporary container, like tutorial chest summoning. Place items in it and wait for it to vanish into the void with them. Save, exist and remove the mod. There's also several tutorials on nexus that gives methods that may work. Remember to deploy/export after uninstalling mods.
